Terms of Service

Terms of Service

Plain English. The legal version is the same idea — we just wrote this so you can actually read it.

1. Who we are

LoopMenu is operated by LoopMenu, Inc., a Delaware corporation. When this page says "we," "us," or "LoopMenu," that's who we mean.

2. What LoopMenu does

LoopMenu lets restaurants run their menu, take orders, reward repeat customers, and connect with diners. Diners use the LoopMenu app (called Menu) to browse menus, order food, tap NFC or scan QR codes, and earn loyalty points.

LoopMenu is free for restaurants to get started. We make money on optional add-ons (branded NFC + QR kits, marketing services, marketplace fees). You don't need to buy any of that to use the platform.

3. Your account

4. Orders & payments

When you place an order, the restaurant — not LoopMenu — is the seller for that food. LoopMenu helps process the payment and routes the order to the restaurant. Some LoopMenu-run programs (marketplace deals, subscriptions, branded kits) are sold directly by LoopMenu — those are clearly labeled at checkout.

Refunds, cancellations, and order accuracy are handled by the restaurant for restaurant orders, and by LoopMenu for LoopMenu-run programs.

5. Loyalty points

Points have no cash value, can't be transferred, and can expire if your account is inactive for 12 months. We can adjust point balances to fix bugs, fraud, or abuse.

6. What you can't do

7. Content you post

Menus, photos, reviews, and shares stay yours. By posting them through LoopMenu you let us display, store, and promote them so the platform actually works (e.g., showing a restaurant's menu to diners).

8. We can change or stop the service

LoopMenu is actively being built. Features can change. We can suspend accounts that violate these terms. We'll do our best to give notice for big changes.

9. No warranty / liability cap

LoopMenu is provided "as is." We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is capped at the amount you paid LoopMenu in the 12 months before the issue — or $100, whichever is greater. Some states don't allow these limits, in which case they apply to the maximum extent the law allows.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware. Disputes go to the state or federal courts located in Delaware, unless your local consumer protection law says otherwise.

11. SMS messaging

If you give us a mobile phone number, LoopMenu may send you SMS messages for transactional and marketing purposes. See our SMS Terms for the full details on message types, frequency, opt-in, opt-out, supported carriers, and message & data rates.

Short version: order updates, driver dispatch, and account claim links are transactional. Flash deals are marketing and require a separate opt-in. Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe, or HELP for help.
